Hello All,

I am returning to gldtalk after about one n half year. Seems like goldcoin community has not grown much since... I expected a much happening forum. Anyways, lets hope coming days will be more producing for cryptocurrency industry.

I guess, more people will turn towards altcurrencies due to slowdown in China and various other economies... Will be happy to see some discussion on this point...

Android App Support / Cant send coins from android wallet

I am trying to send some coins from my android wallet to my windows wallet. But the android wallet crashes after clicking on send button.

Has anyone else experienced this? Please help.

It looks like the CC is not known to most of population in India let aside it's popularity. I've observed people from tech background only aware of it and very small portion of that group is actually using it.

Just wanted to know how many Indians are aware of Goldcoin as a cryptocurrency. I request to all me fellow countrymen to just bump this post once and we all will come to know the count.

Remember, group size does matters. The more people will know about it the more value it'll add to GLD...

Android App Support / Thank You Dev Team for new version of Android app

I got my Android wallet upgraded yesterday night. As expected, developer team has done excellent job. The wallet started synchronizing with network immediately after it is open. No time taken at all to connect with peers. Synchronization speed was remarkable. Within 20 min. the wallet synchronized completely. All my backed up private keys got properly imported and balance is restored.

Android App Support / Android wallet backup keys

Few days back I exported the keys from android wallet and after installing 1.06 version imported those keys back. Though import was successful, the app is not synchronizing.

Let dev team work on it from there side, I am sure soon they will come up with solution. My question in this scenario is it possible to import the keys exported from android device in to windows client? If yes, how?

I just cant beoieve my eyes! Last night before sleeping I checked the price was at 7 cents. And now within 8-10hours, it has doubled!

Meta / Tapatalk support for Gldtalk.org

I access many forums on my android tab via Tapatalk app. But I couldn't access gldtalk through it. It looks like the forum admin needs to register the forum with tapatalk for this access.

It'll be great if microguy or any other admin for that matters can take up this. By having Tapatalk access the forum can be accessed much easily from mobile devices and ipads too...

I've Goldcoin app installed on Android device. But since yesterday it is not connecting with network. Right now also it is saying "Synchronization stalled, 40 hours behind"

Is there any way or setting to force it to connect with network?

Technical Support / Offering 2500 GLD for detailed instructions on Installing a GLD mining pool

I've a spare VPS with 2GB RAm and Ubuntu 12.04 installed on it. Wish to start a GLD mining pool on it. I tried it by myself but could not... Basically due to poor knowledge of Linux.

Here I am offering 2500 GLD's to anyone who can provide me detailed instructions on installing a MPOS or P2pool based mining pool with following requirements:

1) Pool should be accessible from behind a very strict firewall. (Right now, I cant access any pool with cpuminer through this firewall. Though I can access HTTP & HTTPS sites with it.) SSH tunneling is not an option!
2)Also need a good guidance on pool administration.

I was going over the cryptocurrencies listed at Cryptsy.com and I dont see GLD over there. I read that GLD/BTC and GLD/LTC is available on cryptsy. But then why cant i see it on cryptsy?

Anyone else noticed this?

Is there any place where I can buy GLD's for real money (Mostly through Paypal). I saw on coinex, but it seems it only allows to trade between cryptocurrencies. I am willing to buy about 10k GLD's now. if anyone knows how to buy, please share the information.

I have a unused VPS which I wish to use to install a pool to mine goldcoin. Is there any detailed guide about how to install a pool? I tried the instructions made for litecoin pool, but getting some error while executing makefile.

Mining & Pools / Is Goldcoin Network running?

I am not sure what am I mining. I started mining solo with latest client about 12 hours back with minerd. but nothing happened yet. It just keeps on generating hashes and rejecting it.

Can anyone please advice what should I do to see some GDC in my wallet?
