This PPS pool works very well.  Last night I solved 4 blocks, which resulted in 100 more GLD for me!

The automated donation system is functionally in place.

All donations go into a miner account that is set at a 500 GLD auto payout threshold. I have manually sent out the donations that occurred before I put the auto deposit in place and zeroed the donation amounts on the board.

I was just testing the ScryptMiner GUI and I was thinking you should put a download link for it on the Pool. I think it would be a great help for new people that might want to know how mining works. It's something that is very easy to use.

On another note, is there an issue with LP on the pool? I havent been able to connect for a while.

Yes, it looks like LP has crashed for the second time in a couple of days. This is a strange occurrence because normally Pushpool is quite stable.
It looks like it crashed at,  Date: Mon, 01 Jul 2013 04:11:39 +0000, as that was the last update in its screen.

I will force its shutdown and restart it. I would suggest anybody using the LP have a back up pool/solo set up until I can trace down the cause of this issue. I will need to dig through logs so it might be a few days before I trace it down. I will set one of my rigs to use LP so I can keep an eye on it better until then.

I regret to inform everybody:

Due to large losses, I cannot run as a PPS pool anymore.

STARTING 7/15 this pool will change over to Proportional with a 1.5% fee

Unfortunately it looks like I have lost about 120K GLD since the PPS mine opened.

The amount of miners and hash rate is just too low to support a PPS pool. 

I will reconsider changing back to PPS when Goldcoin has grown enough to support a PPS pool.

Nobody will need to do anything, I will just switch the payout method to Proportional and it will be transparent. No need to re-register, the balances in your accounts will remain.

There will be 5 confirms to payout, just to ensure pay out does not occur on a orphan block.

Honestly, I don't even know the difference.  All I know is I mine at gld.cryptocoinmine.com.  I can't even remember what I pointed the 2 miners I have to. 

In my opinion, you need to be making some money.  Make it 2% or more if that's what it takes you to keep up some pool. 

How did you lose gold?  That seems odd to me. 

Also, I think there will be renewed interest once the client is done, the coin details announced and then the community can focus on getting the word out.  Truth be told, I'm not telling too many people about it until the client is done.  Then I'll push it and advertise.

Just stay open for us man.  I don't even know what pps is.  I know I use your pool though.
