Android Wallet Synchronization Problm

I've Goldcoin app installed on Android device. But since yesterday it is not connecting with network. Right now also it is saying "Synchronization stalled, 40 hours behind"

Is there any way or setting to force it to connect with network?

same exact problem .. does the android app have different nodes/peers than the pc client ?

I am having the same problems with the Android App.  The reason has to do with the Seed node.  For some reason it is taking perhaps 30 minutes to connect to the seed and get other nodes.

The App uses the same seed node as the regular client.  What the App lacks are the addnode= values from the goldcoin.conf that the regular client uses.

I am working on this problem to find a solution.

Thats really a good news! My android wallet is frozen since last 3 days.... no sync at all...

I am in a strange difficultty.

I unimstalled the android walet 1.08 after exporting the private keys. And installed the new version 1.09 then imported the backed up keys. Bur thè wallet refuse to synchronize and even after successful import of private keys the wallet ahows 0 balance.

Please help those keys are loaded with 2500 GLD's

The balance will not update after importing the key until after the app has synced. The app is currently not syncing due to an unexpected issue with its ability to connect to peers.

This issue is currently being addressed and we expect to have a patch made available shortly.

We are sorry about your difficulty, but the fix for connecting to the network is not working.  Until I make another update to fix it, try leaving the GoldCoin app running all night.  For me it eventually connects after a while.

Also, to be safe, backup your keys again and then email them to archive them elsewhere for safe keeping.

Thanks for suggestions.  I did the backup. Infact the emailing of backed up keys is done by yhe android client itself. When I dis the backup it asked me to email it. I liked this feature.
I am sure you will come out of this issue too.

An update on this is my android app did got connected with 2 peers for few minuits but didnt synchronize. After a while it again got disconnected.
