I am trying to setup the rpc feature on my pc's goldcoin wallet but it never seems to work.  I have tried changing nany different settings such as: username, password,  port, allowed ip, ect. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

Here is my goldcoin.conf file (I changed to username and password):


* I am running golcoin threw a proxy (using a third party application) but I dont think this is restricting the rpc server because it is hosting (port 8121) for the goldcoin network itself.

I just have a few questions about how gold coin started and its current status.

When goldcoin first started was there any in existence? I dont mean easy mining but actually given directly to tje creator and his team?

Second how many goldcoin are currently in circulation? Also, is there a max amount of goldcoin that can exist if there is then how much and how long will it take to reach it.

I want to help make the goldcoin network stronger and more secure and I currently leave the wallet open on my computer in hope that it will check transactions. I also mine sometimes. Is there anything else I can do to help the network?

Does anyone have power to change the system allowing for granting coins to themselves?

Lastly goldcoin and bitcoin has bren recently dropping in price do you tjink this is because what apple has done or something more? Do you think these currencies will recover?

If anyone can answer some or all of these questions that would be helpful.
