Do you still need help with this or have you solved the problem already?  I can probably help you if you still need help.

Josh,

Do you plan to make the source available?  I can use this to fast track the GLDCapital.com website.  I would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you,

Jamie

Yes, on March 30.

It would be useful if you removed the withdraw timeout (for testing purposes). Otherwise its going to be pretty annoying to test!

hahaha... no, this is what you are supposed to try to bypass. :) I have reduced the time to one minute.

(Please dont change the account password)

Account username: goldcoin

ok, I have gotten the API to work for all of the currencies provided by the block chain api. I have also added options for setting timezones (for transaction timestamps) and default currency exchange. I also added some JS that converts a users default currency to the appropriate GLD amount (and vice-versa) in real time. Anymore suggestions and bug reports would be appreciated.

You can easily make image based status that update whenever the page is viewed. Such that if the user clicks on the thread they will see a green dot or a read dot next to the name in response to the server being available or not. Just another way that may be easyer.

Project Development / Goldcoin online wallet beta
« on: March 23, 2014, 04:31:40 PM »
I am currently working on a php based online wallet that will allow users to register and send/receive goldcoin without installing any software. I have it working and plan to post the code here in a week or two. I was wondering what you guys think (link below). I only have one more thing that I definitely want to add and that is the currency conversion threw an API (im having trouble with that). If anyone can help withthe api it would be much aappreciated. Im also looking for suggestions.

Current features:
* user registration
* ability to change account password
* ability to see previous transactions
* withdraw pin protection

MODERATOR EDIT:  the word beta was corrected in its spelling.

Ok, I tried what you suggested and removed some options that did need to be there (found on a bitcoin wiki) but I still can seam to get it to work. The proxy is local so whatever it allowed for the computer is allowed for the proxy and goldcoin wallet. I also tested the goldcoin wallet without the proxy and it didn't help.

New config file.

Do you have the RPC server working?

* I am running golcoin threw a proxy (using a third party application) but I dont think this is restricting the rpc server because it is hosting (port 8121) for the goldcoin network itself.

Why are you specifying port 8300 in your config file?

I set 8300 because I was trying to check if the port number I was using was an issue. That port configeration only applies to the RPC server thus does not prevent me from connecting to the goldcoin network(connecting to the goldcoin network is not an issue). Other than that no real reason. Also note i want to goldcoin wallet threw the localhost ip (127.0.0.1) no external connections are required at this point. Has any features of the bitcoin wallet been removed from the goldcoin wallet such as the RPC server?

Technical Support / rpc server not working?

I am trying to setup the rpc feature on my pc's goldcoin wallet but it never seems to work.  I have tried changing nany different settings such as: username, password,  port, allowed ip, ect. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

Here is my goldcoin.conf file (I changed to username and password):

Any help is appreciated.

Currently there is no mobile app without a mandatory transaction fee of 0.1 GLD.

Oh, I thought that may be the case... will the new java based wallet have a forced transaction fee? And will it work on Android along with desktops?

I want to launch a new feature on onw of my websites that rewards users with goldcoin but Ialso want to have payout low. Is there a goldcoin mobile apps that doent have a forced transaction fee? I have to do manual payouts at the moment because I of any other way, if anyone knows of a way to automatically cash out with goldcoin that would also be helpful.

I am also going to need a way of getting goldcoin so I may also be offering advertising for GLD

I think 5 GLD is a little steep for 1 click. How are you keeping trach of the amount of clicks?
