I have this idea that i would like to elaborate with you guys.
The value of a coin is based on its community and how many people that want to use it. The more people that find it interesting and want to use it, the higher the value of the coin.
A good way to reach people is to spread the word by writing in forums and blogs and other public places.
Some people might be interested in the coin but don't have the technical knowledge nor the hardware to mine it and it is not easy to buy coins either so it is hard to get in on it.
Maybe some of these people are good in writing texts and they might be active in different forums that does or does not have anything to do with cryptocurrencies or they are bloggers with many followers.
I was thinking about a reward system for posting info about goldcoin. The reward could span from say 1-100 GLD depending on the quality of the post.
For example, a simple reply in a thread on bitcointalk could be worth 1 GLD while a very informative post in a blog with a decent amount of followers could be worth 100 GLD.
It would work like this:
1. Someone writes a post in a forum, a blog or somewhere else.
2. He/she include a GLD-address in the post.
3. He/she then submit a link to the post and the GLD-address (on a site i plan to build).
4. I (or anyone else involved) would then have to manually examine the post and decide how much its worth
5. transfer GLD to the address in the post.
Why include the address in the post? Well, so no one can claim a reward for someone elses work...
Tell me what you think about it. Maybe this is something that allready exist or maybe its a bad idea i don't know.....?
