What is your internet connection speed? You can test it here: http://www.speedtest.net/

Which operating system are you running? and hardware? Are you running any type of firewall? Has an exception been made for the Goldcoin client in the firewall software?

My client currently has 15 active connections and is running smoothly. Any other ideas from the community?

The pictures here (http://imgur.com/a/qqLEU) are different that what is posted as image files on the OP.  http://imgur.com/a/qqLEU

The Client in the pictures (http://imgur.com/a/qqLEU) show that the client in synced, but the time may be incorrect on the computer.  To fix this, make sure the computer's clock is syncronized against an external reliable clock.  This warning is shown if the other peers in the network have a time that differs from you computers time by more than 5 minutes.
