I was testing the Auto Sell Feature that Cryptsy added.
I think it keeps the price of a coin down. I mined a different coin and sent them right to Cryptsy from the pool. It sold the fist lot at the current Buy price. Then the Buy price fell, but the Sell price went up. The Auto Sell posted the coins at the price it sold the first lot for. It posted them for sale say 3 points below the current sell price.
For "example"
Auto Sell - Lot 1: Sold the first lot for 0.006650
Auto Sell - Lot 2: Posted the next lot for sale at the price they sold for above 0.006650.
What I noticed is: The Buy orders were down around 0.006100 and the Sell orders were up around 0.006900 and I noticed the price was going up until it posted my lot for sale at 0.006650. So I ended up closing that sell order and made it the same as the current Sell Order 0.006900 and they sold at the higher price.
I think it could be a good feature. It just needs a little work, adjust how it post coins for sale. If the value is going up, the coins need to be posted at a higher price. Not the last price they sold for.
The reason I tested this is because I think that's what some people are using for GLD. Because the price drops as soon as it moves up even a little. If they sold coins at 292 it will post them for Sale (Sell Orders) at 292 if the Buy price is say 290 and the Sell Price moving up say 350.. So it ends up keeping the Sell Orders price low.
I hope I stated that so you understand what I'm talking about.
Over all it's good idea, it just needs a little work so it doesn't keep the value of the coins down.
