A colleague of mine based in Seattle, Washington forwarded the Craigslist ad for a programmer. I'll be moving up there in a few months myself from Tennessee. I've dabbled with the NXT team back when there was some promising movement and adoption of that currency. The work they needed done wasn't extraordinary; mostly UI stuff so I didn't make any significant contributions which is why this gig got my eye. It seems you all have made some serious progress and any reason to get my hands dirty with C++ is a good reason to me.
I couldn't find your white papers, where can I find them? The promise of protection against 51% attacks is exciting. NXT did a 'ticked-based' approach so no pool could ever have any more chance at mining than the rest of the peers on the network.
I've been programming in C++ since I was 14. I am 25 and have worked on my own for years now. I have worked on financial trading systems in the recent year. I know I can be a valuable asset to your team. What needs to be done? Might I add that the Mac build crashes at the DB init pipeline. I'm taking a look at your code on github and first I'd like to shout out to the dev behind the work so far, I'm glad to see some OOP in cryptocurrencies. All I've ever seen up to this point has been DOP and low level C code which in these modern times can be quite a headache to look at.
