Software Engineer introduction
« on: October 19, 2017, 01:54:46 PM »
I have a Master’s degree in Software Engineering with over 12 years of programming and software development experience. I spent the first half of my career developing large-scale, mission critical military applications using C++ in a Linux environment. Since then I’ve done desktop applications, real-time embedded development, high-performance computing, database development, and web applications for private industry, government, and academia.

I’ve used software engineering best practices to produce software that is secure, scalable, extensible, efficient, and reliable. I have experience with the full software life cycle to include: development of requirements, architectural design, implementation, testing, debugging, and maintenance. I also have experience developing the technical documentation required for a CMMI Level 5 project. I've demonstrated the ability to work either independently or as a member of a cross-functional team.

I am confident that my skills and abilities would allow me to continue to make significant contributions to your development team. I'll be happy to furnish a resume upon request.
