one good advice after installing new update og GoldCoin wallet:

you should always check and update username and password in your personal *.bat file (windows mining .bat file) or similar batch file for linux solo mining, because of the new GoldCoin wallet update changes your personal rpcuser and rpcpassword in your goldcoin.conf (that is good security measure)

On windows simply run the installer and it does the rest for you.
