Newbie Central / Re: Software Engineer introduction
« Last post by MicroGuy on October 23, 2017, 02:08:36 pm »
I have a Master’s degree in Software Engineering with over 12 years of programming and software development experience. I spent the first half of my career developing large-scale, mission critical military applications using C++ in a Linux environment. Since then I’ve done desktop applications, real-time embedded development, high-performance computing, database development, and web applications for private industry, government, and academia.

I’ve used software engineering best practices to produce software that is secure, scalable, extensible, efficient, and reliable. I have experience with the full software life cycle to include: development of requirements, architectural design, implementation, testing, debugging, and maintenance. I also have experience developing the technical documentation required for a CMMI Level 5 project. I've demonstrated the ability to work either independently or as a member of a cross-functional team.

I am confident that my skills and abilities would allow me to continue to make significant contributions to your development team. I'll be happy to furnish a resume upon request.

Brian Sheely

Thank you for posting your work experience and qualifications.  :)

I have sent you a PM and also a Slack invite so you can browse the ongoing development activities.

Just found the coolest Karen Carpenter impersonator (not exactly, but close enough for jazz). She's got the swing.  8)

She's close to us...

Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Community Relief Project

Thanks Microguy!

I just wanted to let everyone know this was not actually tempcoin like I had expected. It looks like this was a directory Cryptsy used for dust consolidation. I checked the wallet balances in hopes of returning any coins to the communities. Of the 4 wallets (CASH, BLK,GLD and CAP)  here are the ones with a working block explorer to show said dust collection.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/blk/address.dws?BGn8UpbKmrEZTaB5H34zX5PtSsNAWJyBZU.htm

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/gld/address.dws?EFB3zu3aeYTe8wtCvAHVEq8baY6aHbVWtf.htm

None of the wallets had any balance.

Thank you for this report. I should have checked the subfolders of the wallet directory before uploading. That would have saved you some trouble.

If there is another wallet of interest, please let me know and I'll get it promptly delivered to you.  :)

GoldCoin Discussion / Re: The price of GoldCoin is stuck

What kind of breakout has to occur for GoldCoin to take off toward a dollar and beyond?

It will need to be a breakout that's supported by adoption and popularity because of the coin inflation rate. At $1.00 per coin, we're looking at $2,880 worth of newly minted Goldcoins potentially reaching the market every 24 hours.

This is why we're laser focused on completing the Winter Roadmap. We must make sure the network is fully modernized and that we have wallets available for every OS/platform.

Hello! So great to see you giving these wallets back to the community. Could I claim the wallet of the failed tempcoin? It has no value besides nostalgia hehe

H there , after much deliberation we would like to claim Saturncoin #26 if its still up for grabs. there are enough hits on messagebords here and there that users would like to have there network back , im not able to find any pool or block explorer , unless im mistaken its no longer maintained. please let us know if its still up for grabs

The requested wallets have been uploaded to Dropbox and links sent out via PM. Enjoy!

Thanks Microguy!

There seems to be some individuals still interested in manipulating the market for a loss.
