This has been an awesome ride the last week and we will hit $1M marketcap soon. But how are these other coins getting there faster? I thought we would be moving up the list, not down.

It's partly due to the mining issues and difficulty re-calibration I believe. Once this matter is behind us and people realize what we've built here we will be free to resume our ascension. Goldcoin is also still relatively unknown.
The fact that we've held our ground this well in the face of continued adversity has impressed me greatly.

Ya, the last few speed bumps have come at a bad time. Yet we continue to climb. That is a good sign. Can't wait to see what happens when we get some smooth sailing!!

But how are these other coins getting there faster? I thought we would be moving up the list, not down.
A key to getting there faster is to be listed on several alt cryptocurrency exchanges such as BTC-E, MCXNOW (shutting down for code rewrite) and especially any exchange in China.

I noticed that too just now. Either cryptsy took it down while the devs are updating the code or the devs have finished and they are implementing the new version.
That's my guess.

all my goldcoins disappeared from cryptsy as well. this happened the other day too, my heart dropped then they reappeared 5 hours later.

First of all, the coins on Cryptsy don't disappear.
When a coin is paused for trading the customer's access to the paused coin's wallet is temporarily suspended. This is for the customer's own security. The coins don't go anywhere and are still safely kept in the protected wallet.
In terms of why it's not trading, Cryptsy prefers to err on the side of caution and because of our current network situation they must have decided it's best to pause trading for a bit. We're now in contact with them and keeping them abreast of the progress being made with the software patch.
Please hold tight and rest assured that we're on the job and almost ready to release the update.

If you click on the Dashboard tab at Cryptsy they still show your coins if they are one of your top holdings. Your coins are fine. Relax.

Be patient, the solution to all your problems is mere hours away.
Well to be perfectly honest it will take 1-3 days for it to normalize but yeah :)
It does fix the block delay issues right away though.

It really wouldn't surprise me if GoldCoin started it's largest bull push so far. GoldCoin obviously has staying power.

GoldCoin is getting mentioned on Polo a lot lately maybe because of the rise. Perhaps now is the time to push to get it listed.

I'm telling you guys I keep seeing people talk about GoldCoin on Polo now. They are saying good things. If you guys aren't going there, even in the trollbox, you should to let people know about it. I know it's userbase is growing but it doesn't hurt to tell others.

What do you know....a good, solid coin that expands into regions where it's needed and also has great devs and a growing community actually performs well in the long run. Microguy dishing out those Cryptsy wallets with Kelsey's assistance sure was a class act. I can't recall seeing people act so unselfishly in Crypto.

Microguy dishing out those Cryptsy wallets with Kelsey's assistance sure was a class act. I can't recall seeing people act so unselfishly in Crypto.
i had very little to do with it, just pointed some communities and genuine devs in Microguy's direction (so giving him more work lol).
I think the whole Goldcoin community is very proud of Microguy's actions, and the efforts he put in to not only protect the Goldcoin community from the dumping of cryptsy coins, but also to protect and help other similar communities.
Money is about trust and Microguy's unselfish actions, as a community leader here, enhances Goldcoins trust rating.

last few times today it got well above 6000sats someone dumps it down to 5000sats :(( so someone wants your coins, just keep them firmly in your wallets ;) pressures slowly but surely upwards......and even 10, 20cents, 50cents is a joke for an honest long lived crypto like goldcoin 8)
all fun though and markets will be markets, never play with more then you can afford to lose.

-maybe thats how it works, that will not be the first time for me submit a request for goldcoin :), but this time we have a ton of new arguments.
i still dont know the requirements to get added on polo, and they delisted those coins without a named reason, so it is still a little mystery on how to get added there, but a few things for sure will be a active community and a good volume.
-The Development/Core Group is greater than ever before.
-Volume and Price of the Goldcoin is stronger than ever before.
(nearly all time high of 11 cent per goldcoin, actual 7-8 cent)
