Title: The Great CC Crash 1st Dec 2013 (Goldcoin Standing Strong)
Post by: Alty on December 01, 2013, 02:11:44 PM
This is quite the crash we're having in most Cryptos. ESP BTC (long overdue)!

Personally I think it is very healthy.

There will be big winners that sold at the top and will buy back in at the bottom.

But don't forget there are going to be big losers mostly comprised of many new people.

I'm totally comfortable, my money is out plus profit many times over.

This should be looked at as being very healthy for the dilution of CC's as it releases allot of pressure built up from the exponential increases we've been seeing.

Something had to give.

Bring it on!  8)

I don't think Goldcoin is standing strong at all, fell down to 8 cents each.

Yes Goldcoin fell quite a bit but it is still higher than the start of yesterday.

I believe that is because Goldcoin price is linked to the Bitcoin price.

Bitcoin price falls, Goldcoin price falls (until buy sell walls adjust to compensate).

Out of 42 listed currencies on coinmarketcap.com Goldcoin is in the 25% or 9 out of 42 that is positive in value in a 24hour window. All the rest have lost value compared to 24 hrs ago.

My 40000 MEC holdings depreciated the equivalent of $48,000. But I'm holding strong this is a long term game and we'll be back up within the next 24 hours to 3 days.

My Goldcoin holdings have increased however since this time yesterday! And I think that the only reason GLD has decreased is because it is linked to the BTC price.

I still have faith in the GLD and am looking to collect some while it is at a lower price.  ;D

We're back at mid-november prices for the BTC, nothing to be panicking about. Just hope it will stabilize soon

People get overly optimistic before the fundamentals are in plain sight supporting it, then they second guess themselves.  It was time really.  It's not as if we've gone back to a place where the double spend problem with decentralized currencies has not been solved.

I feel bad for those that sell when if they just had patience, they would be far better off.  Ahh well....stronger hands will win.
