Title: Introducing Goldcoin to Chinese Exchanges
Post by: Vincent on December 09, 2013, 04:50:46 PM
Since Quark and Worldcoin has gained a lot of hype and value after the news about them being introduced on chinese exchanges I was thinking if there is any plans to get Goldcoin added to these places too?

I think it's essential for Goldcoins success to expand it's trading on various exchanges.

As far as I know, this is very much a priority and there are people working on this.

Yes. This is known as ybcoin in the English language. It's a very little known coin (even in China) and is not related to Goldcoin.

We should probably make this translation is correct and that btc38.com is aware of Goldcoin so there is no confusion or infringement of our trademark.

This is an excellent post and exactly what I've been focused upon for the past few days.  :D

As a matter of fact, I was just organizing my thoughts for tonight's video on this subject and the broader topic of becoming "the Chinese friendly altcoin". Yesterday I began working with China-based community member Tercel to open a line of communication with this exchange: http://www.btc38.com/altcoin/

(EDIT: After further investigation it appears that many Chinese users prefer to use English sites for trading altcoins and that BTC38 is avoided by many due to problems with withdrawals and poor customer service.)

There is also an effort underway to begin a series of videos to replace the current four placeholders on the main page of  http://gldcoin.com/ and to have Tercel write Chinese subtitles to appear in the bottom of each video. I was just getting ready to post in this thread about that progress: https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=1786.0.

So I guess we should keep this thread open for discussing ideas specific to getting Goldcoin listed on Chinese exchanges and the thread above for making videos that will reach the Worldwide audience and China as a whole.

We can try to persuade western crypto trading sites to list us.
I can keep working on Chinese side.
