GldMarket
What is GldMarket ?
A. GldMarket is a standalone marketplace for GoldCoins, Which supports two markets currently.
What are the supported ways to deposit USD ?
A. We currently only support EgoPay and PerfectMoney for depositing USD to prevent chargebacks or further loss to anyone.
How to Withdraw ?
A. Withdrawals of GLD and LTC are done automatically with a fee of about 0.1 GLD - 0.2 GLD for withdrawing GoldCoins and 0.02 LTC for withdrawing Litecoins. Withdrawals of USD are done manually and will take about 24-48hrs.
What Is Pre-Beta ?
A. Its the initial launch of the site before the beta launch, In this stage only users who are willing to help finding bugs and testing the site should join, Every account made in this stage needs to be activated by me manually to function. And a warning is that, This is the stage i will try and patch any found bugs and everyone should use very small amounts to prevent any accidental losses. So people who are interested in helping out me finding the bugs can participate in this stage.

Well, first of all it looks very nice and simple to use!
Suggestion: Maybe the GoldCoin to USD and LiteCoin to USD info should also be appearing next to the gldMarket logo. This way users don't have to scroll down in order to see the exchange info.
When I click on "Welcome, user!" and then on "My Account", it just stays on the same page.

Unfortunately we are not able to provide financial services to USA residents due to bank restrictions at the moment. Please feel free to complete your account registration - there is no fees associated with it. As soon as the limitation is removed we will announce it in our news and inform our clients accordingly. :(

I logged in earlier today to get GLD/LTC deposit addresses; I didn’t have time to transfer then so I emailed them to myself, copied here:

The address changes whenever the old address receives a deposit, Though you can still use the old address to deposit. You will be credited after 6 confirmations. So now are they visible in your account ?
Edit : i have checked your account balances and you have 9.9GLD and 0.2LTC in your account.

Is it the error in okpay ? Hmm then i didn't find anymore payment processors which are safe for cryptocurrencies (i.e., that are not reversable and which don't support cards(so no chargebacks.) ). So if you know any payment processor which are capable of those feel free to ask me to add them. I will add them as soon as i can.

@bustingbuster, the test trades went successful. But there are still very few testers. We need more of them!
I have 2 suggestions:
1) When we are on the buy/sell GLD (GLD/USD or GLD/LTC) it would be useful if we could click on the amount of $/GLD/LTC and that same amount appears on the box of the amount we want to trade.
2) Instead of having an Information Box, maybe it would be nicer if that info appears next to the gldMarket logo, as i said in my previous post (but you already answered me that this part is in construction ;) ). Also, the number of open trades would be best positioned if it were like the attached pic.
What do you say about this suggestions? When do you expect (+/-) to enter in beta stage?

My website is a cross between localbitcoin.com & craigslist.com --- It is basically a P2P classified site with sections to allow for P2P buying/selling of GLD along with physical goods and services sections. I will also be offering a escrow service & will host a master list of links for sites regarding all things GoldCoin.

I haven’t had time to explore everything, but having made a couple of trades here are my initial thoughts. First off, kudos for having put this together! I like the clean, uncluttered look, ala Bitstamp.
1. Login – have you considered / could you incorporate 2 factor authorisation ie yubikey/google authenticator etc? People need to have confidence in an exchange’s security if they’re to entrust their funds.
2. Fees: I think a separate link explaining what the site fees are would be helpful, like Bitstamp, for deposit/withdrawal/trades, are they fixed/sliding scale etc?
3. Withdrawal confirmations: again allied to security, some form of 2 factor authorisation should be required (ala Cryptsy). I haven’t been able to check my linked email account yet, so apologies if this is already the case (but if it is then the user should be informed of the requirement when submitting the withdrawal request)
4. Auto calculation for trades/withdrawals i.e. being able to click on available funds and having the ‘amount’ field auto-complete would be useful, especially when working in fee deductions (Cryptsy is good in this regard, unlike BTC-e that relies on the user doing the calcs) (looks as though this has already been mentioned above)
5. Trades: I think ‘Buy/Sell GLD’ should be separated from ‘Account’ and have its own left hand menu, with the sub-options being either ‘GLD/USD’ or ‘GLD/LTC’, that when selected would bring up the centre trades screen, ideally with the open sell/buy orders and trade history underneath.
6. Payment History – could this be more of a ‘transaction history’, showing movement both in and out? As the ‘deposit’ screen does not show any history at all.
7. Information menu: would be useful to link the open/completed order numbers to their respective detailed pages
8. Minor quibble re presentation – ‘Deposit a Amount’ should be ‘Deposit An Amount’, and in relation to withdrawals, ‘via’ should be extended to ‘via address’ before the address box, so 1st timers are clear on what is required!
That’s if for now, hope it’s helpful. Sure there’s scope for more – personally I think no one exchange has got its interface exactly right and there are good and bad bits to each, but Bitstamp is a good model to emulate.

Seems php mail() is being filtered by hotmail's filters, I will fix this up soon. In the meanwhile let me know any gmail or yahoo you have.

As we only support gld, we arent supporting multiple buy orders or sell orders.
Will take care of fees, the fee of buytrade is only deducted aftermtrade.

looks similar to BTC-e, some good presentation pointers to consider ie. clear colour distinction between buy/sell. I also like the immediate ability to begin keying in prospective buy/sell amounts (ie no navigation required), with the orders/trade history underneath.

And I have an idea (Unrealistic I think...). You can create a "Mobile Confirmation" or "ID card", etc. And people who finish this get 50GLD for free.
The confirmation is used to block multiple account, people can choose not to do this but can't get the free GLD.
Then we can use this to attract more people into this market.

Maybe you could make Gold Coin the coin that you need to trade some of the new crypto currencies being released. So if you want to buy say XYZ coin you have to have gold to get it.
Gold > Xyzcoin
Gold > bxy coin
etc etc examples above. But it will help soar demand for gold

The operator of this exchange has not responded to this thread since a raid took place on a Bitcoin exchange in India which is his Country of origin. Since he is no longer active, I'm going to assume that this project has been suspended.
