I just got my mining computer today and i try to use cgminer on it.
I managed to configure it and it is up and running and in cgminer it says i have 455 khash but on the pool im mining at it says 1khash!!
When i use cpuminer i get about 30khash in that pool.
What am i doing wrong?
It is scrypt mining with stratum+tcp and i use cgminer 3.7.0

Post your script string info that you start cgminer with, and how long did you monitor the pools hash on website, sometimes it takes a few minutes (totally random) to start tracking properly and even then its not always an exact to what you see in cgminer but relatively close to it. You have to account for delay and update time and all that.
Let it run for 10mins and then check see what it registers on the site if it still isnt full but going up from that 1khash give it a lil more time it will even out.

I ran it for about two hours
Heres my start string
cmd /k cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 -u xxx -p xxx -I 19 -g 1 -w 512

What hardware are you running? might need to change it to -w 256?

I have radeon R9 270x.
I took the config from the litecoin mining hardware comparision page.
I changed to -I 12 -g 2 and in cgminer it decreased to 360 khash and in the pool it went up to 126khash
Maybe thats about the best i can reach?

try -i 13 -g 2 -w 256 thread-concurrency 8192

I changed to -I 12 -g 2 and in cgminer it decreased to 360 khash and in the pool it went up to 126khash
Maybe thats about the best i can reach?
try -i 13 -g 2 -w 256 thread-concurrency 8192
Yea what AZIZ said start with that. But definitely your workload was incorrect before at 512 (290/290X would use 512) also you might wanna drop -g 2 to -g 1
Also can find your 270x settings others are using and compare rates here

Ah I see the one with the 512 on there, yea probably wrong. Next thing find your Memory and Engine speed (inside cgminer) hit G, then C and input the # of your gpu ie 0, 1 etc. It should show your speeds. Compare that to that websites posted cards as some card vendors use different rates and some people are overclocking etc. Try to match close as possible. Of course there is also a method to tweak it from scratch yourself, I'd say you'd probably be able to get it up to 430 range easily most likely -I 18 would put you up there.
