Title: Client-Exchange Integration
Post by: psionin on January 03, 2014, 09:41:12 AM
What about having an exchange service built into the client?

Would need a tab with the options, enter a sum to convert, select a service that opens the corresponding website, and the address is already known.

For the service, it would need to use one of the options from http://changee.skillerzforum.com/ (http://changee.skillerzforum.com/) to get money in and then connect to https://gldmarket.com (https://gldmarket.com) and do the transaction at the best price to buy/sell the goldcoins.

It is possible to add tabs to interface with other websites/services if those services have a means of transferring information securely using means other than a web browser.

Most likely the official GoldCoin client will not be modified to interact with any third party service.  It is better that others in the community take the client source code and fork it to add their own modifications while allowing for any future official updates to be added easily.
