I was going to suggest making it more like the Bitcoin one, but then decided to try something different myself. Anyway, here is my submission.

I remember looking through that thread before, but didn't recall that logo. The GoldCoin miner icon is pretty cool.

You guys have created some terrific looking artwork! (:D)

The graphic directly above this post is one of my favorites but I'm wondering if the coin should be rotated.

You may be right, perhaps it's specifically a Bitcoin logo nuance. Here's an updated version.
