Hi, this is the noob section so heree is a noob questiomn. I am trying to set up my virtual machines at windowsazure and I am not very knowledgeable about virtual machines. I have 3 8 core machines up, can I link them to run one instance or do I need to run 3 instances of jhminer?

Each machine will need its own instance.

one more question please, how do I maximize processing speed?

I'm not too familiar with jhminer, but I would imagine outside of using every core there won't be much you can do unless it is somehow possible to over clock the CPUs
