Hi, I run a fairly popular Minecraft server and am currently looking to buildup a network. I figure while I'm doing this I could help branch out the market exposure of this fine alt currency. This isn't super important to anyone, but the idea I think is. If you have a project that is community based and receives donations or sells virtual goods. You have every right to accept all kinds of payments. So my thought is, to help people who can't afford to donate for perks ingame. I'll open up the two lowest ranks on my server to accept goldcoin in exchange for either rank. From there I can trade the goldcoins to developers I know and so forth. Anyone can do this. And that is the key here.
For goldcoin to succeed it needs a market that uses it. I think targeting the gaming market, especially online gaming. Is a great angle. A simple puzzle app game that uses goldcoins would help in ways many of us supporting the coin couldn't. In the future we might see goldcoins being traded for games, and from there the limits are endless. I hope some of you find this useful, tons of ideas. But I am one man and can only handle so many projects. If we had a few people doing this I think we would all see a great improvement in the coin's base.
Food for thought, and there is more where that comes from.

I added those links for you and the rest. Hope the proof is in the product. Let me know what you guys think about this idea of creating virtual economies with game currencies. I.E. ingame money and perks for Goldcoin donations or purchases. There are a ton of angles in this business that could help bolster the coin in a stable way.
Please jump in this little brainstorm if you have some ideas!

I think any market exposure and awareness will benefit this GoldCoin digital currency. My teenager son has explained to me that after earning some in-game resources, he can sell them for in-game currency as a trade medium within the game. Each server has its own "in-house" gamecoin. Are you proposing embedding real cryptic GoldCoins onto your private Minecraft servers as your in-game currency? Would you be embedding a GoldCoin wallet into your server?
