The Goldcoin team was contacted recently by a national political party that is considering officially supporting Goldcoin. This is very exciting news and if realized would help promote greater market acceptance and integration of Goldcoin into the mainstream.

If you would be interested in helping to provide educational training or technical support to this organization please let me know either in a post below and via private message. I will be providing additional detail as information becomes available.
I would also like to thank the entire Goldcoin community for their support and loyalty over the past 8 months. Your decision to remain an early adopter of Goldcoin will be soon rewarded as we're now beginning to see the fruits of our continued efforts.

WOW! Can you imagine a national government endorsing, supporting and accepting cryptic currencies such as GoldCoin as voluntary contributions towards supporting government operations. How would a government operate without its authority to extort taxes from its citizens? Would the citizenship voluntary offer "tips" to support its government? Would the people and associations prefer to be TAXED or to offer TIPS to its government? How would a government living on tips survive? If free enterprises and people can live on "tips", government ought to be able. What's your opinion?

How can I help? I'm new to the forum but not new to crypto-currencies. I've recently looked into GoldCoin and thanks to MicroGuy's AltCoinPress.com articles and other sources, I'm a full supporter of this Altcoin. I'd love to see it become a major player.

I think building a great decentralized cryptocurrency means first building a strong and active community. The fact that you want to contribute is perfectly aligned with this principle. There's a new project board getting started that Viscis made containing a list of items that could use some attention.

I also think we could use some brainstorming on how to get more activity on our Reddit page. The Dogecoin Reddit page is an excellent example of what our goal should be in terms of activity and traffic.
