Post by: tadspoles on July 31, 2013, 10:37:10 AM
What are the next steps to get on the cryptsy GLD/BTC exchange section and then the BTC-e exchange?

We need to have a big rise in volume, price and new supporters so that it can be used as arguments to get Goldcoin back in BTC market. When thats accomplished than we start lobbying at BTC-e to add us.

Hmm...I wonder if there are exact numbers.  We've been doing a lot of volume lately.

We have a strong base of supporters, but we need to expand by getting more people interested and excited about GLD.

I think that will naturally bring in the extra volume we need.

I agree absolutely.  I'm just curious as to what the exact technical requirements are to get listed in the BTC exchange portion of cryptsy.  Maybe it's just a case of Big Vern saying, "GoldCoin has done well lately, let me stick it over in the BTC section."

I mean is it just a case of asking?  Putting us in that section alone will get the ball rolling even further than it is.

We've laid a lot of minor league ground work.  I'm ready to tell friends to buy BTC and trade it for GLD instead of BTC to LTC to GLD.

Maybe I'm wrong.  I'm done with this train of thought though.  Thanks for humoring me.  May you all have a pleasant day and don't take any wooden nickels--mostly because you can't trade those for cryptocurrency.

Ok.  I lied.  I'm a dirty stinking liar.  The very worst kind.

I did a quick poll and our volume as of later is KILLING a lot of other coins.

Hell, feathercoin is behind us it appears and that was THE coin for a while after LiteCoin.

Go Go GoldCoin.  Best Name EVER and best community.  Mostly because I'm here.  :P  I kid.  I kid.

If we can get Goldcoin over 0.001 in a few weeks and keep the rise going Goldcoin it will attract new buyers. I am constantly trying to convince people to invest or support Goldcoin. You should always be honest and open about Goldcoin when talking about the coin. I noticed when you are honest about what wasnt right and what we did to improve the coin people start listening. Never praise the coin the moon in, because it works contra-productive.

I agree but Jesus you guys are missing my point.  What are the "technical" requirements to get GoldCoin in the BTC-GLD section of cryptsy.com instead of the LTC-GLD section?

Am I missing something?

What does Big Vern want?  I can donate a kidney to him if it helps.

I think it is related to price and volume.  :)

Yes, I agree. If we focus on the fundamentals the coin will evolve upward in the markets as the price increases.

We contacted Bigvern a few hours ago about updating the charts and balance listings from GLDCoin to Goldcoin (GLD) and he has already implemented the new headings. Thanks Bigvern for the great service!  ;D

At least my dog loves me.   :D

I'm back!  I brought my ball back too.

I asked my dog if he loved me and he said, "Follow the gold!  Now go get me a biscuit ."

An official request has now been sent to BigVern requesting a placement on the BTC market.  ;D
