Hello im new as this crypto thing and im looking to start mining and get some goldcoins also to meet people on the community. If anybody can help me out that would be great.

welcome these are very exciting times for GoldCoin.  There is a lot of info on this forum and you can find extra info on the facebook page using the link in social bookmarks
