Keep in mind, claim the card too quick and you may collect a small balance. Wait too long and you may lose a large balance. It's all timing.

If you have never looked up a Coin address to see the transactions and balances,
let me give you a little help. Go to GoldCoin block explorer at this address "http://gld.cryptocoinexplorer.com/address" and input the GoldCoin Giftcard Address. That's it.
Importing Private Key Instructions.
Open your GoldCoin wallet client.
Click on help then click on debug window then click console.
In the console window at the command prompt type: importprivkey followed by a space and type the private key address.
Should look like this: importprivkey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx "replace the X's with the private key address".
Press Enter and give it time to import the key before closing the window or your client/wallet will freeze up. That's it.
If you have an encrypted wallet you need to unlock it temporarily before importing private key.
Should look like this to unlock it: walletpassphrase xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 120 "replace the X's with your passphrase".
The 120 is how many seconds it will be unlocked. You can change this if you need more time.
I like to wait about 5 minutes and shut down the client/wallet and restart it after importing keys.
If you would like, you can save the image of the card you won and use it however you want to.
I will be deleting the private key after you import it so you are the only one that has it.
Just so you know, the gift card image is floating around on the web. Someone may donate coins to it!
You may want to post the image on the web yourself and spread the word of GoldCoin and at the same time get donations.
Let me know when you get the key imported.

Keep in mind you can print the card and give it away as a gift to a friend that you would like to get involved in GoldCoin.
Remember: you don't have to import the private key to your wallet. The coins can stay on the card/block chain. This is called cold storage like a Paper wallet. Who ever holds the private key is the only one that has access to the coins.

My wife has just loaded the Goldcoin wallet on her Cell Phone and is quite excited about it, she even got my mother to load the app to do some transfers. ::)
I know i won the first Gift card, but she says if no one has put the amount in by tomorrow she is claiming it for her new wallet - lol ;D
PS: If someone else claims it its going to cost me some Goldcoins. There is Gold fever in the the air. ;D

I say she should just go ahead and claim it. I noticed on this card it says "the original balance" so make sure you look at the right balance since it will show 2 deposits. Look at the time the deposits were made. Go for it!!!

I am working on a new card idea, a special issue only.
I think it would be nice for the special card to work in conjunction with the GoldCoin report. I'll let you know what I'm thinking once I get all the details worked out if this sounds OK to you.
