This thread is for discussing the Facebook page for GLDTalk. (Please note this is different than the Facebook Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/goldcointalk/).)

The Facebook page will serve as our official announcement page where we post current events, important software updates, news, etc, .etc. We have a new volunteer that will be handling the administering of the site and working to build an audience for the page. The community has agreed to pay cryptosolar $10 per week for his services beginning June 1st. Maybe we can coax him to occasionally bump the official thread on bitcointalk.org (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=317568.0).org too.
Sometime between now and then I'll create a new payment pool at https://coinsplit.io/. I'd like to get several of these types of projects underway and pay everyone from a common pool. That way there's a public record and a common BTC address for donations. I think it's best to pay in BTC because that puts less selling pressure on Goldcoin.
Anyway, hopefully this will be the beginning on something really brilliant! :D

I think this is a GREAT idea! I'll get things started with a 10,000 GLD pledge to the project.
