what did i miss to do ?

created an account on "http://gld.cryptcoins.net" and with cgminer i got the following error message:
"no Stratum, GBT or Solo support on Pool 0 http://gld.cryptcoins.net unable to use.

Hello, I hope this problem is resolved for you by now.
By the way, those screenshots are way too small.. please use something larger if you wish us to investigate.
Also you should use the port information given here: http://gld.cryptcoins.net/gettingstarted
or simply use another pool.
Thanks for mining GoldCoin (GLD).

Can you please show me your settings screen?
Also do you have the latest AMD APP SDK installed?

Which setting ? MultiMiner ? I will do that after work.
latest AMD Drivers are installed, checked that after i started Mining.

hi Thorwar :)
Please write your Version Number of SDK not only "latest one installed", maybe we know it better :-).
You use a Mining Software like CGMiner or something like that ?

Please download and install http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/opencl-zone/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/#
2.9.1 x64
Then give the mining guide here a try: http://www.gldcoin.com/help-guides/mining/

did follow every step. the link to CryptoPlanet is still broken, thats why i googled for other pools and ended up at cryptcoins.
since i couldnt get MFGMiner working, i tried it via the Wallet and with MultiMiner it seems to work, but i dont know where the GoldCoings are....

Hi,
You can use another pool url, just use the same command and BFGMiner after installing that AMD APP SDK that I linked you to.
Multiminer is a noname application to me, I cannot help you fix your problem with it.
Give BFGMiner a try, use the same command as in the tutorial, just replace the link with the pools link and the username and password with your worker's username and password.
If this still doesn't work, I can try teamviewer with you for a few minutes to see if its an obvious problem.
-
just replace the link with the pools link
So i replace o stratum+tcp://gld.cryptoplanet.net:3333 with o stratum+tcp://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 ?
Aunt Edith says: obviously not.
bfgminer --scrypt -o stratum+http://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 -u myaccountname.MyAccount -p myPW --worksize 256 --no-submit-stale
Doesnt work either.
I always get the message: Most likely u have input the wrong URL, forgotten to add a port or u have not set up workers.
Cause i set up workers, addes the port, it should be the URL.
my pool info tells me to add: http://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533
so i chanced it to:
bfgminer --scrypt -o http://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 -u myaccountname.myname -p mypw --worksize 256 --no-submit-stale
and i get the same, above mentioned message.
btw:
myName = My Workers Name in the Pool
mypw = my Pool PW.
Hope that is correct ??
-
so i chanced it to:
bfgminer --scrypt -o http://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 -u myaccountname.myname -p mypw --worksize 256 --no-submit-stale
and i get the same, above mentioned message.
Hope that is correct ??
I'm new to Goldcoin, but thought I'd see if I could recreate the error you have & didn't have any problems syncing my miner with http://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 . What you have should work, so there must be a space or simple overlook somewhere & helps to double / triple check everything when errors happen. Let's hope you already got it to sync up & are mining,

i did guess that i am the problem... now i got the proof... >:(
bfgminer --scrypt -o http://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 -u myaccountname.myname -p mypw --worksize 256 --no-submit-stale
That is exactly what i have in my bat.run....
Tried it with my Worker.1 Name & PW as well as the Account-Name and PW: always the same error message...

You're using Multiminer, is that correct? Which BFG miner are you using, the built-in one from Multiminer? When I get stuck on mining configuration, sometimes it's best to start from the beginning & fixes the problem. Another option is to just run the bfg.exe without a .conf or .bat & input the scripts one at a time. Hope you get it working,

yes, i used BFG Miner with the built-on Multi-Miner and this seems to work, but i dont know where the GoldCoins end up that i mine, i cant see them in my Wallet.
Today i used BFGMinter solo with Version 5.20 for Win32 and got the above mentioned error messages.

According to my research, you should be able to achieve around 750 KH/s with that GPU card. Luckily, Cryptosolar lives only 30 minutes away from you by train.

I can ask him to perform a service call and get you up and running. You would only need to pay his train fare in one direction (10 EUR) and I will gladly pay for the return trip. This could be a great way for you to interact with a member of the Goldcoin Team and learn the ropes from a mining expert.
I'm not sure if he can make the trip or will have the time, but this could be one possible way of finding a solution for your problem.
Let me know what you think! :)

if i have the time this evening, i will try it with another Mining pool.
if i cant start the mining myself, i dont know if i should go on... kind of anoying for somebody how studied Business Administration & IT...
btw: what i still dont understand: the Pool nor any mining client has any relation to my Wallet and GD Adress. How will the coldcoins be deposited in my wallet ?
http://gld.cryptoplanet.net/ doesnt exist anymore ?

If you can get the basic software running, without a config or bat file & manually add the input for the Pool, Name, Pass, Algo (then press "S" for settings & "W" to write a basic configuration file).. You should be Golden, just don't give up & keep trying (been building for well over a decade & still have trouble from time to time). The pool will send the payments out with what you entered in your settings (on the pool / site), it's an API script that will be automated or manual (depends on what you have set in your account settings on the pool).

Hi, the pool withdrawal settings are located at http://gld.cryptcoins.net/accountdetails when you are logged in.
I used the following bfgminer configuration on an R9 280/7950 and it worked.
bfgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://gld.cryptcoins.net:5533 -u testerjohn.1 -p x -I 12 -v 2 --verbose -g 2 --worksize 256 --no-submit-stale
Note the "stratum+tcp" not "stratum+http"
Please also try to make sure that port 5533 is in fact open/port forwarded, as that may be the culprit. With regards to multi-miner working, again It's a software we do not support. We don't know what is happening with it.
Again the checklist for you is(REBOOT IS MANDATORY, you need proper driver cycle):
- Download and run http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/16748/
- Reboot
- Download and install latest catalyst from http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
- Reboot
- Download and install 2.9.1 from http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/opencl-zone/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/#
- Reboot
- Download, configure and run BFGMINER 3.1.4 (use this version not version 5 as that has many compatibility problems). Download link is: http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/bfgminer/3.1.4/bfgminer-3.1.4-win64.zip

Done that, now getting the message: unexpected extra commandline arguments.

It works fine for me *shrugs*.
Please take screenshot for me of the error screen you are getting..
