Very exciting times ahead for Goldcoin. I can think of no better place to kick-off Goldcoin's global adoption.

I'd like to thank our friends in West Africa for this opportunity and for believing in the Goldcoin brand.  :)

nice article:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/mirage-or-real-oasis-how-bitcoin-could-answer-african-challenges
just posting here the highlights to Africa :) :

Is digital currency good for Africa?

Claasen can't think of many ways that Bitcoin could be bad for Africa and its people. In 2015, Bitcoin was the world's best-performing currency. It's also been trading within a remarkably stable price range leading up to and following the halving event.

However, some have questioned its stability as a store of value for poor communities.

Claasen assures:

“There are only 21 million Bitcoins that will ever be mined. It's deflationary, much more likely to yield long term capital growth than traditional fiat currencies and our recent Brexit experience even tells us that it could supplant gold as a traditional currency hedge.”

Consumers need to be able to earn Bitcoins, store them in a digital wallet and eventually, exchange them both at point of sale and peer-to-peer which is hard to achieve within short periods of time.

Claasen concludes:

“It took the closest cousins of cryptocurrencies, credit card networks, more than 50 years to achieve widespread adoption and even they didn't crack it in Africa. That complexity may lead to Bitcoin being adopted first as a store of value and only later as a medium of exchange.”

I beg to differ on the stability part. BTC is currently forming a pennant formation around $650 and is likely to break out in the following days. It already made an attempt at $680.

Have you noticed all the recent articles talking about a rising BTC. At some point it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. :)

Semitic words have usually a wordstem that consists of three consonants.
In his case they are GLD.  :D

Here's something funny:
Martin Luther King is frequently referred to as MLK.
Melek in Hebrew and malik in Arabic mean 'king.'

I've come up with a t-shirt design for the GoldCoin Nigeria Project.  It's currently being advertised on TeeChip.com until I can get a site for myself:

https://teechip.com/goldcoinnigeria

Let me know what you think!  I am looking to do other flags, and dabble a little more with Photoshop.

That is very cool!  I'm not the best at photoshop, but I can move some things around  :)

I'm currently working on a design for the US, and then maybe Germany.  More for fun really.

Although, mein deutsch ist scheiße!

I have a bit experience with photoshop, maybe enough to help you out with a nice design for the  t-shirt ?  :)

so if we put some love into the design together and make a backside and a qr code or something useful with it would be nice ?  :)

no problem, then you have to deal with my bad english  :)
