Title: Just Aquired GLDCOIN.COM for use as Official Website!
Post by: MicroGuy on June 12, 2013, 05:52:36 PM

Good news!

This is to announce that I have completed my transaction with Gldcoin for the domain GLDCOIN.COM. This domain can be used as the official GLD website if the community agrees.

Thank you Gldcoin for a smooth transaction.  :)

I definitely agree with using gldcoin.com for the official website.

Glad to hear you've acquired it.

Nice. Let's definitely use it as the official website, taking the idea behind litecoin.org or bitcoin.org. What is your guys opinion on this, we should try and get it developed quickly.

It seems you may have forgot that seed.gldcoin.com is in the code as a dnsseed, and it seems to have become unresolvable since yesterday.  Might want to fix that back up.

gldcoin.com is perhaps the best domain name, because of dot com being so popular.

I have been working on a GLD coin to transfer to a domain like the one you have acquired Microguy. Happy to talk to you regarding transferring the code if interested.

MicroGuy (or whoever runs the website), in order for the G+ page to show up on Google search, you need to put this into gldcoin.com:

Code: [Select]

<a href="https://plus.google.com/101537951445302000439" rel="publisher">Find us on Google+</a>

I'll take care of the rest!

Great to see the website is up and running now :)

Could we have links to good mining pools on this website?
