As it is, it's working much better now, after updating to the new client I woke up to see I had 4 mined blocks.

Well it's obvious it's a problem because the difficulty of the network has been steadily going down as people go elsewhere with their GPUs.

Well, you can farm, it's just really slow going, in about 24 hrs I got one block and 13 orphan transactions. Plus one mystery 0.10 GLD transaction that has no transaction history and couldn't have come from anywhere as I haven't even given a address to anyone yet.

It's enjoying the coattail effect from Bitcoin, same as all other crytpos right now. As is, it's never going to go much further than that. Mostly I think people are messing around with it because it has a funny name.

Would be nice to see a cryptocurrency that punishes server farms/ASIC farming and is geared towards regular people with regularly accessible GPU hardware.

How long does it take to get the six confirmations? I mined a block a hour ago and it still has 0 confirms.

That is perfectly normal CGMiner behavior. When solo mining you do not get long polling. You can ignore it.

I am having the same issue, running 1 7950, also only getting rejected shares. I've attached a image of my client, CGMiner 3.7.2.
