Mining & Pools / Re: dns.navy gldpool not showing my address
« on: January 12, 2018, 12:56:33 PM »
I can only do what I can do with what I have to do it with. Right now, anyway.
But, I am seeing accepted shares 11/11 with the green "yes!" on the same line in the interface.

So, how do I interpret that?

I just want to be productive and so if I have to mine another coin to use to buy GLD with, I will.
Just need some advice.

[Still have not gotten an explanation as to why address is not showing on "Workers" tab.
I'm not pool hopping and intend to stay for the long blocks, so...?]

Yes, that's where I am. Just not showing in "workers" tab.
Here's the .bat -
ccminer-X64 -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://goldcoinpool.com:3032 -u DzoD59G1WP313ULEnvpbgkDMVi5UKRcwMv -p x

Getting this-

Just no address listed on Worker tab.

Was away for the afternoon and came home with gpu still showing up and running on gldpool navy, but looking at "workers" page I don't see my addy like I did before I left.
Is that something to be alerted to?

Mining & Pools / CUDAminer conf for GLD

Not sure if I have the CUDAminer configured correctly.
When starting the cminer.exe-
Getting a HTTP_failed to connect
json_rpc_call failed, retry...   [Is this pool address error?]

Here's what I've edited in the run.bat file and START.bat
cudaminer -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://goldcoinpool.com:3032 -O u:p x
[flashes, then closes]

Sorry for my ignorance. I've searched high and low and most posts are obsolete and many sites discontinued.

[FINALLY! Guess I had too many different unrelated projects going on at the same time. Set up to 308kH/sec and running at 47% fan]
Now, where was I?

Hope so. Been messing with some XMR mining and a few CPU miners. Mostly just spending fiat on an assortment of coins since July.
I've been reading up on gold and figured to give GPU pool mining a go with a 1050 Ti.
I'll be asking noob questions, but only after I get stuck on a point.
Here's to a New Year of astonishing things.
