I think you are right MicroGuy, someone is definitely keeping GoldCoin artificially low.  Although disappointing, this individual, or group of individuals can not be every where at one time.  Meaning I hope the buy support picks up elsewhere.  Finally, I'm going to continue my fight to have GoldCoin listed at other  more well known exchanges.  Hopefully more to come.

Project Development / GoldCoin Medium of Exchange

During the weekly Sunday meeting it was discussed that we should look into a medium to help the developers turn their GoldCoin into fiat as to not drive the price of GoldCoin down on the exchanges.  I know the US has a complicated mess of laws that hinder this, but I think it is possible in some country on earth. 

I understand that the US is trying to protect against unlawful activity, but any new tech regulations seem to move at a snails pace.  These regulations are generally not consumer friendly either...  Any lawyers, coders, developers, or entrepreneurs want to go in on this project together?

Marketplace / Gauging Interest on a Physical GLDcoin

I am in talks with a couple of coin manufactures on the physical minting of an actual 'GLDcoin' for selling to the community.  My intention is to not assign GLD to the GLDcoins that are minted due to legal reasons, but I thought it would be a great way to show support.

Details are still being worked out, but it looks at though the coin itself will just be Gold (real) plated, around another less expensive metal in order to keep the costs lower for me.

I am soliciting ideas for designs.  I will pay a few GLDcoins for the winning design if anyone shows interest.

I was wondering if all the images concerning Goldcoin are copyright free.  I would like to throw together a website generating interest and would like permission to use any images associated with Goldcoin.  Speaking of images, is there a image bank I can pull from?

Bottom line: A free diagnosis on a multitude of problems for a low fee of GLD

  • I currently do Computer Consulting (mainly security) for a big firm in the US.
  • I would love to contribute to the community and offer my services to those who have GLD. 
  • Diagnosis is always free, and I definitely won't charge the normal rate that my firm does.

A summary of my skills include:  Host based security solutions, RedHat, Malware diagnosis/analysis, Windows, Penetration testing solutions, Advanced Persistent Threat detection, and some programming.  Of course I love building computers, so if there is a computer that you would like my to build or you simply have a repair question, I would be more than happy to answer.

I'm also new to the GLDcoin talk site, and semi-new to the digital coin era.

I think there are a lot of cool possibilities if this coin were to 'take off'.

I have some good ideas from a previous business I co-ra,n and think they could be integrated with some of the other good ideas I've been reading about.
