Nice layout, just too bloated with white-space everywhere for my taste.   :)

there is a button where you can toggle to night mode :)

btw, night modes help to save some energy

« on: April 16, 2018, 08:03:05 pm »
okay lets get back on Developing a newsletter together :)

I ve set up a template using beefree.io there you can choose a newsletter template and edit and save it in html code for free.

afterwords this template can be imported to mailchimp which we are using at the moment.

so far the first newsletter contains:

- White paper release
- cheddur app
- article and video about the 65-100% bargain
- client update (friendly reminder)
- (placeholder)

- its also possible to do a little Q/A with a google document to get some feedback of what we are doing.

please feel free to fire away any thoughts or ideas on that, all helping hands are welcome :)

Project Development / Re: some ideas after the client release
« on: March 27, 2018, 07:19:44 am »

I would definitely donate GoldCoin (or fiat) if a projects like this were getting started.    goldfund.me?

I was thinking again about the Goldfund.me idea and here are my ideas towards that:

If the ideas are targeted on growing Goldcoin then those Ideas should have the option to accept at least the top 10 CryptoCurrencies and Fiat.
Why?

Example:
We get 50 000 Goldcoins funded for one of those ideas, for that we need to pay things which means we would have to sell the Goldcoins on the open market, that would have a negetive impact especially when the projects gets bigger.

Exception:
We distribute the funded Goldcoins to dedicated Goldcoin Developers who are willing to  HODL the Coins and get the things Developed.
This solution would be very awesome in the long term.

 good idea  :)
yes that seems like a solid home base for those things xD

- we can get started by ironing out those ideas more in detail, and then push it to the "public" users, something like that.

Project Development / some ideas after the client release
« on: March 19, 2018, 09:21:24 am »
hi @ all,

first i want to say that Goldcoin is a true Open Source Project in terms of Code and Community, so everybody is invited to contribute.

i have some ideas of what can be done after  the new client is released and we got the SPV / Electrum support.
to expand our existing Coin infrastructure we will have some possibillities.

- "keep key" or  "Trezor" solution.
We  are one of the most secure Crypto coins out in space, so we should have a hardware wallet solution to provide security on all levels and make it easy to handle.
https://www.cryptocompare.com/wallets/guides/how-hardware-wallets-help-protect-your-private-key/

- payment app  POS (Point of Sale)
With zero fee transactions and instant 0-conf transactions we provide the dream for merchants they have waited for  :)
there is a start up developing a 0-conf POS app, so it should be "not so hard" to fork that to goldcoin, the code is also Open Source.
https://news.bitcoin.com/mini-pos-launches-zero-confirmation-bitcoin-cash-point-of-sale-terminal/
https://github.com/simon-v/minipos

- get added to "multi-coin" wallets
there are actually some multi wallets out like coinomi for example.

Project Development / Re: Developing Bounty Campaign
« on: February 25, 2018, 07:02:01 am »
- new design for the reddit page (500-1000 gld)
- more youtube videos about goldcoin, or find someone who is willing to do it , (please DM me)

attracting potencial wales/investors/traders:
- trading advices for goldcoin on trading sites like tradingview.com, it is called "idea" (500-1000gld)

building an ecosystem:
- writing e-mails to differnet people/merchants wich already uses cryptocurrencies all over the world and ask them to adopt goldcoin
- keep all sites updated on a list.
- lets say someone writes 1-2 emails every day to different people like youtubers and merchants or casinos, there are a lot of ways to expand the ecosystem.
(please DM me, it will require a CC of the e-mails to my e-mail address, (i can pay per written e-mail)
___

as always i am willing to spread some coins, but from now on it will require a reply in this thread, i am no more willing to spread coins via the telegram chat.

Technical Support / Re: Can't download Wallet.
« on: February 20, 2018, 09:21:51 pm »
I've tried a number of times and no matter what I do I can't download the wallet .exe.

My system just won't let it download and I'm not messing with my security settings.  So is there another a way I can get the .exe file?

I've been using  the main page for the wallet.

https://www.goldcoin.org/get-started/

hi :)

can you please provide details of what OS you are running and check the firewall and security settings twice please, everything should work fine.
