GoldCoin Discussion / Re: [Official] - Sunday Team Meetings on Skype

"point 5. Need more buyers on Bittrex and more mentions on Twitter."

I for one used to keep the buyside up on Bittrex, but now my withdraws are locked at Bittrex with no warning, no solution despite tickets etc, I was a legacy member with 1337BTC withdraw limit, now 0 BTC withdraw limit, my coins are stuck (including all recently purchased goldcoin), seems thousands have the same problem (look at their twitter).

My advice therefore is don't trade on Bittrex!  I think community should be warned.

Also with the current situation Goldcoin needs a new main exchange with urgency.

1) there was a warning on bittrex since roughly a month that verification is comming, but everything was working fine :)
since a few weeks now they activated the limits, so everybody had enough time to withdraw the funds from bittrex :)

2) The time where you can move around millions of dollars around the internet anonymous seems slowly but surly come to an end.

3) I am not sure if it makes sense to get on another exchange, because they will also have KYC , so if you verify yourself on bittrex or on another exchanges comes to the same end i guess.

anyway, thx for warning :) and nice to see you still around here

Hi Cryptosolar, Yep busy in the real world, but still around these parts :)

My warnings not about having to be verified or KYC requirements, its about peoples funds locked without warning, btw I am verified at Bittrex.

Many many people (just read their twitter replies and btt threads) have been lock out of their funds, some they use the verify excuse and the system fails to accept their verification, others already verfied wake up to funds being locked.

I'm personally fine i never keep more the 1% on any exchange so I can take the hit (though not impressed), but what about those at whose money is significant to them no matter the amount and this close to christmas.
Anyone who's been around this community awhile will notice Gox and Cryptsy both delayed withdraws citing verification as an excuse for months.....we know how that turned out.

Just a friendly reminder to all; never leave more then you are directly trading on any exchange. Keep your Goldcoins safe :)

Also its a good time for Goldcoin to explore other places to obtain goldcoin, lets not take too much a hit on Goldcoins progress by having one exchange with most the volume.

yes we know all this and I am Enhanced! (uploaded ID and  selfie successfully)

look at their twitter, unverified, verified, legacy, ALL have examples of peoples account Lock, Frozen, Withdraw limit 0 BTC, with no warning,. looks like they are doing it systematically.

Now a few weeks ago, i could read this happening to people and think oh yeah working fine for me, early November I withdrew thousands of LTC no problems, while reading many couldn't, then 2 weeks ago tried to withdraw and my withdraws failed saying my withdraw limit is 0BTC. trapped many thousand of LTC, Goldcoin etc

Now look at their twitter same happend to many 1000s of people, verified the works, no News, no replies to tickets for many for months with funds blocked.

Where have we seen this before? Gox remember, Cryptsy remember all started blocking withdraws using Verifying as an excuse.....doesn't anyone remember this?

Read their twitter, then tell me you'd still trade there?

I've contact their lawyers no reply, so now it'll be my lawyers to their lawyers, but if its all heading the same way as previous examples well.....do the math.

I can't withdraw from Bittrex, 2 weeks ago I went from being a legacy member with 1337BTC with draw limit to 0 BTC withdraw limit  Seems thousands have the same trouble? Many for many months on end, and many with no replies to their tickets for months! Is this another Gox? Cryptsy?

Anyone else in this community have their coins locked on Bittrex?

Excellent to see Goldcoin's vision is to stay true to Satoshi's vision, (which unfortunately is becoming rare in the crypto scene)!

yes a newbie with 2 posts (Doge_Man) simply asking for doge wallet wins  ::) i thought only geniune devs or geniune goldcoin community members where eligible?

(not bad sportpersonship, as stated in pm any wallets i check i happily donate to goldcoin fund, tis what i feel should have been done with any coins geniune devs can't be found for, also the dogecoin wallets are very likely empty and of no use to people just wanting coins).

i personally still would like the wallets after people have used them as mentioned for the original reason i was claiming them. if you find coins you can move them before i get the wallets.

« on: April 19, 2017, 12:32:27 AM »
i'm very confident they are empty,  they are so large as not to be the offline wallets, ie so large because so many inputs and output to cryptsy hot wallets. funds where transferred to one wallet then dumped on the exchanges along with other major coins (btc/ltc etc).

other assorted coins still had coins as they only mainly dumped the ones with enough liquidity.

in the days/weeks/months before cryptsy left town i was warning everyone about the bitcoin as i traced their wallets to being dumped. mods banned me for doing so.

i was told by horus for example when i asked for where the funds went, "thats private information" i explained how that was not the case as bitcoin is an open ledge (i was merely asking for information that i already new to see where mods stood). horus since has apologised to me openly saying i was right all the time and that he was just in denial.

funnily when you warn people months before, yet few listen and you even become the enemy :(

so why do i want empty doge wallet?  i want them to confirm what many of us already know however they are simply another piece in the jigsaw.

last few times today it got well above 6000sats someone dumps it down to 5000sats  :(( so someone wants your coins, just keep them firmly in your wallets  ;) pressures slowly but surely upwards......and even 10, 20cents, 50cents is a joke for an honest long lived crypto like goldcoin  8)

all fun though and markets will be markets, never play with more then you can afford to lose.

What do you know....a good, solid coin that expands into regions where it's needed and also has great devs and a growing community actually performs well in the long run.  Microguy dishing out those Cryptsy wallets with Kelsey's assistance sure was a class act.   I can't recall seeing people act so unselfishly in Crypto.

i had very little to do with it, just pointed some communities and genuine devs in Microguy's direction (so giving him more work lol).

I think the whole Goldcoin community is very proud of Microguy's actions, and the efforts he put in to not only protect the Goldcoin community from the dumping of cryptsy coins, but also to protect and help other similar communities.

Money is about trust and Microguy's unselfish actions, as a community leader here, enhances Goldcoins trust rating.

i'd grab a random doge wallet.
also believe they are wallets that could be put towards goldcoin dev funds etc as doge would be to hard to track missing owners and lost coins would hardly dint it on market etc

any left over non claim wallets i'd be happy to help sort through and donate back to goldcoin funds etc

This giveaway is designed for a coin's developer and/or long-standing community members only.

Yes its called the "Cryptsy Community Relief Project", one would hope the people claiming wallets are doing so to help the coin communities (if they still exist) of the coins wallets they are claiming.

Keep in mind Trygoldcoin.com sales are not calculated by coinmarketcap.

Sales on the site have reached an all-time high this month.  We're reaching the mainstream consumer. :)

good news and its great to have an option for people who may not fully understand the crypto exchange ecosystem  :)
