Android App Support / Re: GoldCoin Wallet v4.x
« on: September 15, 2016, 06:18:52 PM »
Hi there,

sry. for not being around for a while...but as everyone knows life sometimes is also around.

First of all the wallet works well. However, maybe there should be a login and logout option to have not always the wallet running in the background. The wallet is not using much data which is very good as well. Also eventually a private key to import should be possible.

All overall i give  :thumbsup:

Mining & Pools / Re: Solo mining
« on: April 17, 2016, 09:36:22 AM »
That is not enough.

Zeus, Zeus what miner? Gridseed,Asic, fpga x4/x6 x whatever?
Which Zeusminer is it? Is it controlled via Rapsberry Pi or your desktop?

After that, is the miner working already by means of connecting to a pool and mining?

1.) if it is controlled by Pi you have to connect the miner to your desktop and setup referring conf file.--> are you using the web gui to setup mining or are you running via ssh?
2.) if it is controlled by your desktop you have to connect your bfgminer to the Zeus by setting up the correct conf file. and do you have the correct bfgminer installed which is necessary to run your Zeus. e.g. i have a zeus g-black gridseed 25mhash controlled via pi and solomine to my desktop, modified bfgminer gc-3355 was necessary.
3.) how is your miner connected to the desktop LAN/wireless/usb?
4.) forward referring ip's and ports UDP/TCP to your desktop on firewall and router, make sure your gld wallet exe is whitelisted on firewall/router as well

The first post info is not enough as it is like pocking in the dark.
If you want you join today meeting at noon (1pm est) and we can chat after to get straightened out... let me know. Skype is possible as well.

However,

here the conf file for your wallet:
rpcuser="whatever your name is"
rpcpassword="x"
rpcallowip="whatever the ip of your miner is"  <-- provided that your miner is a standalone system with own ip
rpcport=8122
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
maxconnections=64
dns=1
checkpoints=1
listen=1
dnsseed=1
banscore=50
bantime=14400
addnode=167.160.36.162
addnode=107.161.23.121
addnode=107.161.23.159
addnode=24.54.97.47
addnode=216.170.126.215
addnode=167.160.36.162
addnode=glcnode.ddns.net

to start bfgminer or build conf. file in folder:
stratum+tcp://"whatever the ip of your desktop is":8122 -u whatever your username in conf of wallet is" -p "x" --enable-scrypt --enable-gridseed --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=850,chips=40 --hotplug 30 <-- referring flags for specific miner to run

The Break Room / Re: GLD Bot
« on: April 16, 2016, 09:59:58 PM »
Sry for late reply. That why I have asked to look in the code and get it modified. i remember I was friggling with the bot and it should be able to get adjusted to any currency pair you want. Unfortunately i dont understand the new API for CCex and could find out how to make it for that exchange. I remember this bot was doing fine for ping pong but then I had switched to Haas bot until it became to expensive.
Maybe someone know how to write the module to get connected to CCex. The rest should be ok to transfer and adjust accordingly.

I am not a node expert  :(. I remember BASIC but that was 27years ago haha

The Break Room / GLD Bot
« on: March 10, 2016, 07:55:58 PM »
I was thinking of having this bot modified with exchange api's trading GLD and unnecessary excanges taken out.
https://github.com/askmike/gekko

I am not a coder but was using this bot a while ago. When set up right it can make some good trades, specially for ping pong. Requires some tweeking.
Maybe we can make use out of it and someone can make the changes required specially for C-cex to add.

With the right setup it also is a good monitoring tool.

Any ideas or thoughts on this?

MicroGuy, many thanks.
I appreciate you hold word and so far besides trolling on CCex I see some grown people here around.  8)

As mentioned in open workforce project I offer support when available or necessary. Whomever needs help just ask. As well let me know when there are some meeting available ... I think i saw Skype being mentioned. pls. correct me.

I personally would like to see some success and achievements for GLD in the wider crypto community as I think this is one of the few coins with potential.

Hey there,

I just joined the forum but I am interested to support GLD as I think this is one of the few coins with potential.

I have a twitter already following and can help to support where is needed either for planned projects or evtl as i saw as occupying open positions as mod for IRC channel or helping starting topics on bitcointalk.
I can provide translations to german as well.

Currently I am working on my wallet with 1000 GLD and will post when ready.

I hope to find a home here as i am interested in alternative currency and see potential when there is no scam involved. looking at the team it seems legit so far and GLD is around a while.

Update 03/9/16 - GLD in Wallet - name added

Newbie Central / Want to say hello
« on: March 08, 2016, 08:21:38 PM »
I just joined GLD forum here and a hello to all.
I give crypto a 2nd chance after the big scam bust last year everywhere.

A couple weeks ago i decided to ramp up my rig and mine and came across GLD. Works well and i distribute 50% mining to GLD.
Hope to find a good group here since good coins are becoming rare.
