Bitcoin may have problems pushing new changes and with central control

I wonder if there are long term things we can do to ensure that GoldCoin could never push out unhealthy code changes--code that gives control to a small group. We should keep this in mind as we go forward because it appears to me that is what some groups are trying to do to bitcoin.

I think the goal of this is to keep people OFF a level playing field and allow those that already have wealth to have EXTREMELY unfair advantages.
