This morning, for the first time in its young history, bitcoin broke $1,000. Today, on Mt. Gox, the highest profile cryptocurrency exchange, the once-obscure online money was trading at $1,020—and it's still climbing. A single bitcoin is worth over a thousand dollars.

Bitcoin has broken some high records but it was a first time in history that Litecoin broke more than $10 this week. Litecoin skyrocketed to $25 (I believe yesterday, or today) and it is still raising.

A month ago, Litecoin was just $2 or $3 but all of the sudden, it boomed up to almost $40! It is your choice if you would like to invest in it but there are always risks.

I have 1.7 LTC way back when it was just $1 - $2 a piece and I am actually pretty happy.
