It would be great if we could get the community more active on social sites like Reddit, Snapchat, and Instagram. I read an article today about how the younger generation are using these newer sites and moving away from the Facebook.

I had hoped we could get someone to write a GoldCoin tip bot for Reddit.  I doubt it's very hard as there seems to be a template.  No such luck yet.  :(  I'll keep begging though.

It is a way for folks using Reddit to tip one another when they like comments.  The tip shows up right in the comments and everyone can see it.  Folks ask questions about it and it raises awareness.  It appears that either a wallet or just a crypto key is associated with your account and you can send it to another wallet you have.  Folks can add funds to their reddit wallet/address to tip others.

Currently there appears to be a Bitcoin tipbot, a DogeCoin tipbot and an AltCoin tipbot.  The altcoin tipbot is kind of demeaning if you ask me.  I feel strongly that if we'd been able to act on this months ago, we likely could have gotten some good exposure.  Still though the name GoldCoin is so STRONG that even now if folks get tipped GoldCoin they'll be curious.

It's typical this never got underway here.  It was a significant development in both the Bitcoin and DogeCoin world so it's no wonder GoldCoin leadership ignored it.  That seems to be their philosophy now.  Ignore things that work and just post positive comments about hope and peace.

The leadership of decentralized cryptocurrency cannot be expected to do everything under the sun in the development of infrastructure or marketing.

We should be encouraged when we see others volunteer for a job and then actually do that job. 

A GoldCoinTip bot is possible to design given the code provided.  It would probably take me about 1 month to figure it out.

A goldcointip bot would be cool to have. An alternative approach would be to find someone who has already created one, and offer them some GLD to clone it. That would take considerably less resources because the figuring out part wouldn't be required.

Also, it may be necessary to have a higher Reddit GoldCoin presence before this can be expected to be used. http://www.reddit.com/r/goldcoin
