This is to announce that I have completed my transaction with Gldcoin for the domain GLDCOIN.COM. This domain can be used as the official GLD website if the community agrees.

Nice. Let's definitely use it as the official website, taking the idea behind litecoin.org or bitcoin.org. What is your guys opinion on this, we should try and get it developed quickly.

It seems you may have forgot that seed.gldcoin.com is in the code as a dnsseed, and it seems to have become unresolvable since yesterday.  Might want to fix that back up.
