I came here to learn how to mine goldcoin. I have some old gaming computers and parts that i would like to setup for mining. I also found a couple of laptops that a neighbor was throwing away. So here it goes
Noob question #1: Do you need to be connected to the internet for solo mining and wallet mining?
Noob question #2: How do you know your wallet is mining? Its says mining but is it?

Ok I've bothe those questions figured out now. Once connected to GLD network click the mine, hover the mouse over the pick axe on the bottom and it will show the hash rate.
