GLD trademark registered, but relevant?

Anyone look into this yet?

The SPDR fund uses the ticker GLD, has anyene done the legwork on trademark research?

I am preparing to buy a domain and want to make a good choice.  not sure to use gld or spell out goldcoin.

Open to suggestion,

I think you can use whichever you prefer GLD or Goldcoin.

It is my understanding that since we are using the letters in conjunction with a digital currency we are in the clear. There are also several other common uses of GLD I found here: http://www.acronymfinder.com/GLD.html

Please keep in mind I'm no lawyer!  :)

Thanks Micro.  Yeah the trademark is nothing to do with finance.

If we are so successful we will be able to afford to change if necessary. ;)
