What should a pool be?

I guess what I am really asking is what features would you like to see in a pool? I am currently redesigning CloudMines from almost the ground up and have already added some very "neat" features for lack of a better word. I cannot disclose what has been changed at the moment but I would like some ideas on what you may find useful.

I mentioned earlier that earnings (whether it's in the amount of GLD mined or amount of $s made) computed for daily/weekly/monthly, etc. would be pretty sweet.  I know my average hashrate and the estimated gld income per day, but I want to know the "actual" income daily just to keep track and feel good about myself mining away.

Ya I can help test it out if you need a second set of eyes too.  As far as ideas the ones already mentioned sound great.  Um sadly I dont know what else to ask for it feels like we already have everything but then I may just be a simpleton hehe that and our pool us already so darn good hehe!

one thing that i was just thinking of for a pool that might be cool if possible would be multiple payout addresses that you could assign a certain percentage to each.  You could send a couple pecentage to a faucet, a couple pecentage of your payout to a giveaway and then the rest to your own wallet

Great idea! It may take some time to develop, adding it to the list.
