The generic tipbot you listed is ok but it is generic. It doesn't set us apart. Both bitcoin and dogegcoin(which was really smart) implemented their own.
Look at the "video" on the side of the first link. I would say bitcoin got 10s of thousands of new folks interested this way. Maybe a lot more. r/bitcoin has like 90,000 subscribers--people actually subscribed to that subreddit. Check out the new section and watch all the new comments that come in. It's at the top here at reddit.com/r/bitcoin.
So basically folks go ALL over reddit and tip people in dogecoin for various comments. Tips like 25 cents. People ask, "wtf is that" and folks explain that it's GoldCoin and where to go and get it.
