Future Improvement?
« on: November 05, 2013, 12:02:14 PM »
Well dont know if it has been asked before but here I go.

Is´t possible to implement automatic version update into the wallet?
That way there´s no need for critical updates and no worries that none sits on old wallet.

+1 for auto-updates.

I can see where this option would seem desirable.

However, there are security reasons why no coin implements this.

No matter how good a developer(s), nobody can be 100% certain that code cannot be exploited.

An auto-update opens up a huge attack vector that could be devastating to both wallet holders and the coin itself.

The risk far outweighs the benefit.
