Would be great to see GoldCoin get on something like this http://rokos.space/
Applications are creating ways for people around the world to learn, work & innovating the path for the future. Still very few people see what can be built with what is being created here...

We make use of the qdatetime library to handle localized timezones for 51% defense system.

Usually when there are problems it is because of missing QT library.

I'm having the same problem on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit & have opened a ticket on github. I already have all the needed packages including Qt, but compiling fails with:

Code: [Select]
/bin/sh ../share/genbuild.sh obj/build.h
../share/genbuild.sh: 33: ../share/genbuild.sh: cannot create obj/build.h: Directory nonexistent
../share/genbuild.sh: 34: ../share/genbuild.sh: cannot create obj/build.h: Directory nonexistent
make: *** [obj/build.h] Error 2

Also, the size of the cloned files seems very excessive, the goldcoin folder is 1.2GB! There seems to be a lot of uneeded bloat that needs removing from the repo.

Regards.

Success!

Adding the obj folder to the src directory solved the problem.

There seems to be a massive amount of bloat in the repo, 1.2Gb for a coin wallet is huge. Hopefully dev will make the required changes by adding the missing obj folder to the repo & clean it up a little, as it took me nearly 3 days to figure out the compile problems.

Regards.
