New GLD Member as of Today!

Hello all I am new to mining and to the GLD side of things completely.

After seeing the majestic and captivating video by Max I am fairly excited to see how this all pans out, and hopefully be able to contribute to the community!

I do have one question,  I ran the numbers thru http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/goldcoin-mining-calculator/?h=466.00&p=450.00&pc=0.06&pf=1.00&d=0.42440825&r=0.90000000&er=0.00001950&hc=0.00   is this roughly correct?  If so it looks like I shouldn't bother with this as I would be losing money in power fees.

You're numbers look correct. But you could mine and hold and have a wonderful outcome!

Thanks MicroGuy just making sure the numbers were right, before I had them way off and it was showing crazy profit and I was like that can't be right haha.

Well as it stands at the end of the year if I was going 24/7 I'd be losing over $500 bucks, not sure if I'm ready to shell out that negative amount, perhaps I can acquire some better GPUs to at least break a lil more even hehe.

Anyhow thank you again for the welcome party and I sure will be following and investigating this stuff more!

I've been up and running almost 24hrs now Alty, think I've got about 40GLD in my wallet hehe, waiting on the KillAWatt to arrive to get a real measurement of my kWh usage, but yea we'll see how it goes perhaps I can acquire some better video cards, currently have 2 6850s (they were collecting dust) as they were POSs when I bought them for gaming and couldn't sell them LOL.
