I have just confirmed with Amir that the "Official Premiere" of the new Goldcoin client will take place at the SA Goldcoin Conference on November 29th! Attendees will be provided with a live demonstration of the new client along with its multitude of new features.

I was just thinking we probably need to come up with some ideas to make sure we get a good turn out for this event. Maybe we could come up with a promotion to advertise locally.

Perhaps something like 1000 FREE Goldcoins for attending the event? I bet we could get someone with feet on the ground in the area to hand out coupons or vouchers in the days leading up to the event.

I do not think we have anyone set up to do Public Relations (PR) work. Maybe we could put word out that we are looking for someone to be Main  PR person for GoldCoin. There have been a few times that I have run into people that might write articles. I do not feel I am knowledgeable enough to be giving more then very basic information. There really needs to be someone knowledgeable in all aspects of cryptocurrencies. It would help if we had that person to turn them over to. I think this is a crucial time to have a Public Relations spokesperson available.  And I know that we have a lot of talented members. Maybe someone would be interested.

I went ahead and made some time to contact cryptosnews.com as Max Keiser suggested.

I sent him a link to articles that I had previously written: http://altcoinpress.com/category/goldcoin/ He has just replied that he received my request for a story and indicated that a Goldcoin article should be published on both cryptosnews.com and maxkeiser.com within the next 24 hours.

I had also contacted them a couple of days ago, also contacted wall street journal, coin desk etc, still no replies. I will happily contact them all again and use the article which MicroGuy kindly produced.
