I can't wait to read this book and read about all the hijinks of:

The original developer who disappeared.
The original developer who disappeared, then who changed his name and came back and then disappeared.
The Hash Attack, where we were all waiting around for weeks for the difficulty change.
The guy who came to the rescue.
The guy who made a bunch of fancy charts.
The guy who made the android app from that lighter coin app.
The guy who helped the main developer fix some of the problems in the code.
The guy who became the main developer.
The guy who pumped the price up and lost his head, as it were (its a pun).
The hobos who were at that one exchange.

There were so many great memories from that first summer.  Oh man, we could mine profitably with a low end graphics card!

EDIT:  and the Song for the guy at that one exchange.
and the hacker guy that liked the guy who rescued this coin and that hacker was nice to us.   Wow!

I will try to cover all those historical points :P

If I do not come across some of the above, I will ask you for help :)

It will be published before you know it  :P

Very good. We discussed your book and ways to help with promotion during our meeting this past Sunday.

I have noticed that the official GoldCoin Bitcointalk thread became very slim in terms of content between Jan 2014 and May 2014.  Nonetheless, there is sufficient material on www.gldtalk.org  :)

Please could members of the GoldCoin community donate towards the project.  It will cover overhead costs (electric, rough pointing drafts), designers, proof readers.  I want to produce the best book I have ever written :D

I have begun the final rough draft of the book.  A projected page count of over 130 pages is anticipated.

I would like prominent members of the GoldCoin community write a personal statement (250-300 words).  Please include answers to these questions:

1. How you discovered GoldCoin?
2. What attracted you to GoldCoin/cryptocurrency in general?
3. How you have contributed to GoldCoin?
4. Where do you see GoldCoin in the short/long term?
5. What is your most memorable about of GoldCoin since its launch on the 15th of May 2013?

This list of questions is by no means exhaustive, but I would prefer all to be answered in a manner which suits.  Please could MicroGuy, Akumaburn, AZIZ1977, Stouse49 submit their personal statements very soon.

Thank you

If I submit my personal statement here, then there would be SPOILERS!

Nevertheless, while searching through the Alternate Cryptocurrencies section on bitcointalk.org on May 15th, 2013, I came across the announcement post for gldcoin...
