[NEWS] GIP Development Release Update (32MB Blocks)
« on: December 07, 2019, 12:32:24 PM »
We are excited to announce that Goldcoin client development and testing of GIP1 is now complete.

New Features:

- Maximum block size increase to 32MB.
- New modern logo.
- Unit of account updated to 'GLC'.
- Tx increase to 1,120 TPS.
- GoldCoin branding changed to Goldcoin.

Notes:

This latest update has undergone extensive testing including various transaction stress tests. I would also remind the reader that all development is public and open-source. We encourage anyone interested in closely following or participating in development to join our team on Slack.

Schedule:

The binaries will be built this weekend and the software will be released next week. Once we have the exact date for next week's release, we will notify the community here.
