I would watch the Bitcoin Ranger from time to time.  Then one day when I went back to see what he had posted, he had a few videos on GoldCoins.  Went to Cryptsy and the rest is history.  I just wish I invested a little more in the early days  8).  Oh well, I continue buying...

Hi Guys ,new to this malarkey, but thinks its the way to go,downloaded gold coin software and waiting for it to sync ,question,tried to get me head round seting up a account to buy some ,but what's the connection  with bitcoin ?????? thought i was buying goldcoin ,im lost :-\

Good morning William. Currently, the only way to buy Goldcoin is with Bitcoin (or Litecoin).

So you need to buy bitcoin first and then move the BTC to Cryptsy and use it to buy Goldcoin (GLD). This is one of primary reasons that Goldcoin is so inexpensive at this time. As we move forward you will be able to purchase GLD directly with fiat.

I bought a few hundred on Cryptsy while trying to diversify some extra LTC I had laying around and then won 200 in a wallet giveaway contest and now I am here :)
